Online drop-in workshop for improvisers of any level.
How do we as improvisers find characters? This workshop will focus on how much of a character can be found through the way we use our face, eyes, and mouths.
Then looking at outside stimulus, this workshop will offer some ways into character that can help us develop our range before we bring these characters into scenes with each other.
11am-1pm ,£5* using the Zoom app
*Some lovely people have sponsored places on our classes, so if you're skint right now - just send us a message to get your name down to take part.
Improv is a load of fun, and anyone can do it! Great for building confidence, wellbeing and for being an outlet for play + creativity. We create safe and supportive enviroments in our classes, and they're run by experienced improv coaches.
We are delighted to offer all our courses in partnership with the wonderful Slow Theatre Company
Improv is a form of performance - often comedic, but also dramatic, where everything is made up on the spot. There are no scripts, just collaboration techniques and tools that allow us to build worlds from nothing at all. People often know improv from the TV show "Whose line is anyway?" - but this is just the tip of the iceberg! The possibilties are endless and anyone can do it.
