Intro to Improv Comedy (Beginners + Intermediate)
At City College, Ipswich Road, Norwich
Tuesday evenings from 9th May to 27th June 2017 - 7:30-9:30pm
Improv is a load of fun, and anyone can do it! Great for building confidence, wellbeing and for being an outlet for play + creativity. We create safe and supportive enviroments in our classes, and they're run by experienced improv coaches.
This course will start you off gently into the world of improv or build on your existing skills. During the course, you will learn the fundamentals of improv comedy. We will learn through group games and exercises, building to a friends and family show at the end of the run (this is optional, but most find they want to do it by the end).
This is a great course to dip your toe into the improv waters - whether you have a desire to perform, want to build confidence in your work or social life or simply want to meet some new people and have fun.
This course is suitable people with no previous improv experience, or those who've not done any for a while and want to jump back in.
Your coach will be Chris Read - a supportive and passionate improviser with many years experience both performing and coaching improv.
We are delighted to offer all our courses in partnership with the wonderful Slow Theatre Company
